Advanced Allergy TherapeuticsOverview
Acupuncture Health Associates is proud to offer treatments utilizing the Advanced Allergy Therapeutics (AAT) technology. This technology can quickly and easily eliminate the symptoms of most allergens and sensitivities that could be contributing to multiple conditions. It is a breakthrough therapy that merges western science with Traditional Chinese Medicine. AAT can successfully treat patients of any age, including infants. The Treatment ProcessInitial SessionThe Initial session will take about 30 minutes and will include an assessment and a single treatment.
The patient will need to arrive approximately 30 minutes PRIOR to the Initial Session to complete forms which will give the practitioner a basic history and an understanding of the symptoms that the patient is experiencing.
Allergen assessments are based on the symptoms that the patient is experiencing.
We also use medical allergy tests, when available from the patient, however they are not required.
The practitioner determines what the patient is reacting to by using a muscle-response test (MRT) that is unique to the clinic.
The MRT is non-invasive and allows the practitioner to determine if an item is having a negative reaction within the body.
A practitioner must identify the exact substance or substances that are causing the reaction before beginning the treatment.
Following the assessment, the patient will receive a treatment for one allergen family.
The treatment involves the practitioner transmitting digital representations of the allergens to the patient through a cuff that is attached to the arm.
As the digital representations are being transmitted, the practitioner will stimulate nerve bundles and acupuncture points along the spine.
This stimulation is gentle, non-invasive and pain-free. Once the treatment is complete, the patient should be able to resume contact with the items that had previously caused the allergic reaction or sensitivity within 2 hours of the treatment.
Upon completion of the Initial Session, a prioritized treatment plan will be given to the patient to let them know how many additional sessions will be needed to address their symptoms (if any).
Only one allergen family can be treated per session. On average, the number of sessions required to resolve the most common conditions are between 5 and 12.
The treatment is non-invasive and completely pain free. The treatment does not require the use of needles and does not require follow up with drugs or supplements.
Follow up sessions take about 15 minutes and include a retest of the previous item that was treated to determine whether the body may still be reacting to that item.
The patient will then receive a treatment to one of the allergen families that was determined in the Initial Session.
